President, Fluids Division/ Filtran
Markus Beer is the President of the Fluids Division, Filtran Group of Filtration Group Corporation. As deputy head of development at IBS Brocke, a German injection molder, tool maker and supplier to the automotive and non-automotive market, Mr. Beer was in charge of developing and managing new innovative product concept solutions for the automotive industry such as the first pneumatic door-lock systems, the first engine air intake valve modules or passenger air-bag and safety systems. He started to lead a group of 15 engineers and helped the company to grow by 60 percent from 50M to 80M DM (deutsche marks); or 25,500,000 Euro to 41,000,000 Euro; or $28.5M to $46M with its new exclusive products and innovations.
When the joint venture IBS Filtran was founded in 1986, Mr. Beer took over as the lead for sales and engineering and later as Managing Director of that European business segment to support growth from $.2M to $93M. During increased globalization of the automotive industry, he was announced as CEO at Filtran LLC in 2013 to lead 650 employees globally for further growth. Mr. Beer helped the company to strengthen and expand its leading market position for high innovative filtration system solution concepts and products.
Mr. Beer grew up in Germany and has a Degree as Engineer for Science at the University of Siegen, Germany.
