Sonya Roberts has served as a member of our Board since June 2022. Ms. Roberts serves as president and group leader – Cargill Salt at Cargill Inc., a global agricultural and industrial products leader a role she has had since June 2019, where Ms. Roberts is responsible for leading the Salt business which produces and sells food, deicing, water softening, industrial and agriculture salt products in North America and Europe across multiple production facilities. In addition to her current role at Cargill, Ms. Roberts has served as President of Growth Ventures and Strategic Pricing for Cargill Protein from 2016 to 2019, Managing Director for North American Poultry from 2015 to 2016 and Vice President for Sales and Marketing for Salt from 2011 to 2015. Prior to joining Cargill, Ms. Roberts worked in the energy business for 19 years for ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) in a variety of leadership, financial, strategy and business development roles. Ms. Roberts currently serves on the Board of Cargill’s joint venture company Catallia Mexican Foods, LLC and as the Cargill appointee for Minnesota Bold. She also previously served on the Board for SPX FLOW, Inc. (NYSE: FLOW) from January 2021 to March 2022, when the company was sold. Ms. Roberts earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
