Filtration Group to Join Parker-Hannifin Corporation

Madison Industries to sell the filtration and separation science company to Parker for $9.25 billion; Filtration Group valued at over $10 billion including the value of retained assets

Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Chicago, Ill.) — Filtration Group is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Parker-Hannifin Corporation (NYSE:PH), a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.

Parker is an organization that shares Filtration Group’s values, passion for innovation and commitment to providing filtration and separation science solutions that solve mission-critical challenges.

As part of Parker, Filtration Group will benefit from additional scale and investment that will unlock new ways to partner with customers, innovate with purpose and make a positive impact on the world.

“Joining Parker will mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Filtration Group team members and customers,” said Filtration Group President and CEO Jon Pratt. “This acquisition will bring together two companies with deeply aligned cultures and a commitment to innovation. After years of building an innovative filtration and separation science business and creating incredible value as a private company, Filtration Group looks forward to its next chapter as part of Parker.”

Parker will purchase Filtration Group for $9.25 billion. Filtration Group’s Facet business will not join Parker and will remain with Madison Industries, one of the world’s largest and most successful private companies. Including the value of Facet, Filtration Group is valued at more than $10 billion.

“Filtration Group’s growth story is nothing short of remarkable,” said Madison Industries Founder and CEO Larry Gies. “I know that Parker is the right next home for Filtration Group. Parker’s winning strategy that empowers its people, focuses on customer experience, drives profitable growth and delivers top financial performance will both honor the legacy of Filtration Group and unlock new opportunities to scale and grow.”

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of applicable regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in 2026.
